ANEWMALS / New Biology
Starting with a line drawing of an animal or a bird, I would create its mirrored image and then morph the two into a new species. Symetrically balanced, the resulting Audubon-like contemporary nature studies would emerge. Using colorful graphic and textile patterns added a fashion sense to them. Some have a human emotional element, personalities - happy, sad, playful, and childlike are just a few. These new creatures, whether earthly or of other worlds, comments on our continually changing evolution and our ecosystems.
